Meg Lowe:

Why is it so hard to start these things? Maybe because its humbling to think you didn't shake the world yet AGAIN in the last year, or maybe just a reminder that yet another year has flown by?!?!? Anyway, thanks to Joel's constant persistence/pestering and reminding of the fact that Jane with her TWO kids was able to write and therefore I had NO excuse, here I am. First of all, thanks so much to Eric for doing this yet again, is great to read everyone's updates, all so interesting. I think we should definitely go for a reunion of sorts in Joel's new palace.

This past year started out with a bang when I arrived back in London to find both Joel and wife running around in my flat ….. in my clothing! They were visiting for New Years which was such a great treat!

Did a fair amount of travelling this year, the highlight being a friends' wedding in Zimbabwe - almost too good to be true and the 30 or so of us that attended from London still get together for 'Isa' like parties. Also have done a lot of biking - never thought I'd like the sport so much but is such a great way to jetset from slick party to slick party in the City - of course I always park around the block and talk about how slow the tube was!

Work is still going really well, my boss was just asked to leave which is exciting for me as I get her calculator and slide rule - and a lot more responsibility! Of course the slide rule was equivalent to my increase in salary but we all know we work for the sheer joy of it so I'm not complaining! Has been a wonderful year though which lots of visitors and lots of visiting! As usual it would be a treat to see anyone of your faces in London, you're always welcome!

Wishing everyone the best for 2004!
Meg
