Eric Knepper came to visit Paul and I a few weeks before Lily was born.
At this point I can hardly move. (Oct 2002)

We had a small grog party for Eric when he came to visit in October 2002.
Amazingly, one of our close friends in Winston-Salem, NC was born and raised
in Suva, but he never learned to vosa vakaviti or drink grog. (John Knight
is sitting to Paul's right.) This may have been one of John's first grog
sessions.

Feltus' in Athens, GA (Oct 2003).

NOTICE: Drinking grog around children may be hazardous to their toys.
This was the mishap at Alex Feltus' reunion that I was referring to in my letter.
At least the Ken doll kept his clothes on....

(July 2003).

Here, Lily is getting to know Carolyn.

Over Labor Day weekend 2003, we traveled to Indianapolis to see Chris Sloffer
(in the blue shorts), the volunteer who took over for Paul in Rotuma.
Of course Chris and Paul had to have a grog session, and they even constructed
a tabili for the occassion.

Another grog session in Indianapolis with Chris and his friend Steve.
