Joel Johnson:

The past four years seem to have gone by much faster than the two spent in
Fiji. Perhaps the long hours at Mr. Perot's old company, EDS, has a lot to
do with that. I have really enjoyed my job and learned a great deal about
software development. Currently I am developing an application which tracks
aliens (immigrants) throughout the country.

I bought a house last year, and construction was completed in October. I
love playing Harry Homeowner, working on an endless number of home projects.
I'm making up for living with pink curtains for two years in Fiji.

So far the highlight of this summer has been hosting a group of RPCV's for
the Habitat for Humanity - Fiji Fundraiser in June. I had the good fortune
of seeing Jane Acton and her husband, Eric Knepper, Meg Lowe, and Dana (a
great friend from Fiji). We also met up with Ken Gulick and his lovely
fiancee, Carolyn Waterman and a few others. Nothing like a good bilo of
grog after so long.

I hope this edition of the Coconut Wireless finds everyone in good health
and humour. Don't hesitate to give a call when in Northern Virginia!
